iOS SDK 2.1 beta 1
Bellus3D SDK 2.1
June 6, 2019
This is the beta 1 release of the 2.1 iOS SDK. This will be a short beta cycle. We expect to go final with 2.1 if we don't hear of issues during the beta testing.
A developer account is now required for anyone using the SDK. Previously, if you were a free trial user, you did not need an account but the SDK had an expiration date. The expiration is now handled on our server. You will need a client ID and client secret. Please email
to request this information.
We have a new help desk ticketing system that better helps us track and respond to bugs, feature requests, feedback and overall support. Please visit this link.
Please review and try the Sample App for ideas on how to implement the SDK using Swift.
We have changed how you should activate your SDK. Now, we suggest you activate in the HeadScanner init as shown in the Sample App. This ensure that you are activating closer to the time your app actually starts scanning. Previously we had suggested activating in your AppDelegate.
In this release, the size of the SDK has been reduced down to 8.5MB.
There are various bug fixes included in this release. The documentation has been updated as needed.
